Financial Definitions – The Autex System

The Autex System is used for letting brokers communicate with each other. The Autex alerting system now digital, but used various mediums of data transfer since it’s inception in the 1960’s. The Internet is now used as well in using the Autex system. Once a buyer of a security has found their seller, the actual trade often takes place in registered stock exchange.
