I know that many times I would spend money if I had it handy, but when I know I have to run to an ATM machine, I’ll choose just not to buy the small item. This can back-fire sometimes, when your buddy has to flip the bill when you don’t have cash, but you can usually plan ahead for a visit to the bank on your way to your destination.
