Saving Money - Don’t Sign Contracts Longer Than A Year

Make sure you stay away from contracts. Don’t sign anything that has monthly bill unless it’s your land-line phone, auto payment, mortgage, utilities, and other essential bills. Home alarm system contracts are really bad for this, as well as cell phone contracts. I’m saying you should not use these services, I’m just saying you should shop around and find services that don’t have contractual obligations, or at least have short term contracts, so you can get out of the monthly payments in case you have a money emergency, or if the service is no longer a value.
